What to Expect
We know that when you’ve been in pain for a long time, you might feel anxious or skeptical about seeing yet another provider. That’s completely understandable. Here’s what makes an appointment with Dr. Kruman different:
You’ll actually be heard. New patient appointments are approximately 60 minutes—not a rushed 15-minute visit. Dr. Kruman will take the time to understand your complete pain story: when it started, what makes it better or worse, what you’ve already tried, and how it’s affecting your daily life.
You’ll get real answers. Through a thorough examination and diagnostic assessment, Dr. Kruman will identify what’s actually causing your pain. He’ll explain everything in clear, understandable terms—no confusing medical jargon.
You’ll have a plan forward. Before you leave, you’ll understand your diagnosis and have a personalized treatment plan. No vague ”come back in six months” or “it might get better on its own.” You’ll know the next steps and what to expect.
What to bring:
Photo ID and insurance card (if using insurance)
List of current medications and supplements
Any medical records or imaging you have
Your questions—write them down so we make sure to address everything
We Understand Cost Concerns
When you’ve been in pain for years, you’ve probably also spent a lot of money trying to find relief. We get it, and we’ll be transparent about costs from the start.
We accept Kaiser insurance for orofacial pain treatment. For patients with other insurance, we provide detailed superbills that you can submit for reimbursement—many plans cover orofacial pain treatment under medical benefits.
During your first visit, we’ll discuss all costs before beginning any treatment.
No surprises, no pressure—just honest information so you can make the best decision for your health and your budget.
